You can feel it. The Red Clay Strays will bring their blend of Southern rock to the stage. Well known for their hit song "Wondering Why" and many other heartfelt songs, genuine lyrics and killer guitar riffs all played LIVE!. Their newest release "Made By These Moments" includes some new original charming songs played with incredible intensity such as "Devil In My Ear" and "Ramblin'". When we first heard of Very LeFreak, the Mobile, Alabama rock trio had already spent years honing their craft playing dingy bars and venues that few had ever heard of. It's a tricky grind, and one that often goes unrewarded, but the band eventually got their due and an energetic following. But even with fans pouring in and millions of streams sold, it's safe to say that they're one of the most exciting modern rock bands currently making music.
Dylan Gossett is a band-aid for your soul. Extremely sensitive and relatable music by a young songwriter come see the vulnerability for yourself. His first released single “Coal” has been streamed over a million times globally. His debut EP “No Better Time” is a testament to the unexpected talent the young artist possesses as a songwriter and the deeply personal songs he is able to create. A relatively unknown fact about singer-songwriter Dylan Atkin is that he recorded and produced his very first two albums in his parents basement, an apartment above their Chinese restaurant. Minimalistic production to highlight the depth of the songwriting and storytelling in the songs. Americana fans are discovering Dylan, as he is currently filling in for Brian Wright at The Blue Grass Cove in Ashevegas Road in Madison, Al.
Closing out live music for the evening will be Sweet Talk playing their brand of country/rock. Their music is made up of tuneful original songs that incorporate the classic storytelling of country music with the polish and modern production values of rock. Their high energy live show is a great way to wind down the night while still having everyone fueled up to mingle with other concert goers. Despite no publicity apparent for this show the band have clearly worked hard to build a loyal following and tonight's show was much appreciated by those of us who attended and got to experience their music live in a very authentic way.
