Nine Inch Nails are ready to bring their "Peel it Back" Tour to the Pechanga Arena in Temecula on Monday, March 9th. This is one of the biggest teases that you'll ever find to convince your significant other or a group of friends to spend a weekend at the resort that's going to be capped off by an incredible performance.
The band was commissioned to do the entire soundtrack for the latest TRON movie starring Jared Leto. That's the soundtrack that they're taking on tour. Picture it, Nine Inch Nails with the iconic TRON neon lights! Expect to hear some of the NIN classics as well. It's going to be hard to find a performance of this caliber to serve as an excuse for a weekend at Pechanga. They're coming out with new music that's themed to the TRON movie. On top of all this, the show's at a casino resort. Your prayers have been answered, your dreams fulfilled, or however you want to frame this! The only minor detail that's "not ideal" is that the show's on a Monday. If you're a Nine Inch Nails fan, it's going to be completely worth it to take some vacation days here. Unfortunately, March 9th is not a holiday, but it's actually national "Get Over It Day." There are a lot of things that are going to be thrown at you during this performance. Apologies for the spoilers, but if you've seen the posters for the new TRON movie and even the NIN album that was released as the official soundtrack, you know about the red neon lights already. Expect a heavy emphasis on that world at this performance. That doesn't mean that NIN won't hit you with "Closer" or "The Hand That Feeds" at some point during the show.
When it comes to the actual concert, keep in mind that only about 3/4 of the arena will be open for the event. That's going to help set up a larger stage and the floor area where the ice rink or the court usually is. On the floor, you get the rock concert experience that you crave if you're a true NIN die-hard. Yet, in the stands, you can acknowledge that your years of being shoulder to shoulder with concert goers are behind you. In doing so, you could be in line for a better visual experience overall, plus some added comfort. Once you decide that you want to come to the concert, it could be a good idea to book your room at the resort for the weekend.
